Cookie Policy
Last updated: 23 June 2026
This Cookie Policy explains how Zoepurify.ddd uses cookies and similar technologies on our website. It should be read alongside our Privacy Policy. We comply with the Privacy and Electronic Communications Regulations (PECR) 2003 and the UK GDPR - the UK's post-Brexit data protection framework under the Data Protection Act 2018.
1. What are cookies?
Cookies are small text files stored on your device when you visit a website. They help sites function, remember preferences, and - with consent - analyse usage. Similar technologies include local storage entries used to record cookie consent choices.

3. Legal framework in the United Kingdom
After Brexit, cookie rules in Great Britain are set out in PECR (as amended) alongside the UK GDPR and Data Protection Act 2018. In summary:
- Strictly necessary cookies and similar storage may be used without consent where they are essential to provide a service you request or to transmit a communication.
- Non-essential cookies (e.g. analytics, marketing, preferences beyond core function) require your consent before they are placed, under PECR Regulation 6.
- Consent must be freely given, specific, informed, and unambiguous. You must be able to withdraw consent as easily as you gave it.
This policy also covers similar technologies such as local storage, session storage, and pixels that store or access information on your device.
4. Cookie categories we use
| Category | Purpose | Consent required | Retention |
|---|---|---|---|
| Strictly necessary | Site operation, security, consent storage | No - essential | Session to 12 months |
| Analytics | Understand page visits and improve content | Yes | Up to 26 months |
| Marketing | Measure campaign effectiveness if used | Yes | Up to 12 months |
5. Specific cookies and storage items
| Name | Type | Category | Purpose | Duration | Provider |
|---|---|---|---|---|---|
| tdde_cookie_consent | Local storage | Strictly necessary | Stores your cookie consent choices | 12 months | Zoepurify.ddd |
| Session identifiers | Session cookie | Strictly necessary | Maintains basic site functionality and security | Session | Hosting provider |
| Analytics cookies | Cookie | Analytics (consent required) | Measure visits and navigation to improve content | Up to 26 months | Third-party analytics (if enabled) |
| Marketing cookies | Cookie | Marketing (consent required) | Measure referral sources and campaign performance | Up to 12 months | Third-party (if enabled) |
5.1 Strictly necessary
These items are required for the website to function, to remember your consent decision, and to protect against abuse. They do not require consent under PECR but you can block them through browser settings, which may prevent the site from working correctly.
5.2 Analytics (only if you consent)
We may use privacy-oriented analytics to understand how visitors use our pages. Analytics cookies are not placed unless you click "Accept all" or enable analytics in "Manage preferences".
5.3 Marketing (only if you consent)
Marketing cookies, if used, help us understand how visitors arrive at the site. They are never enabled without your explicit consent.
5.4 Third-party embeds
Our contacts page embeds Google Maps. When you load or interact with the map, Google may set cookies or process personal data (such as IP address) under its own policies. We recommend reviewing Google's Privacy Policy and Google's Cookie Policy. Where possible, the map loads only when you visit that page.
6. Managing your choices
In line with ICO guidance, our cookie banner gives you three equally clear options on first visit:
- Accept all - enables strictly necessary, analytics, and marketing cookies.
- Reject - rejects all non-essential cookies; only strictly necessary cookies remain active.
- Manage preferences - opens a panel where you can switch analytics and marketing on or off individually before saving.
Rejecting non-essential cookies must be as straightforward as accepting them. We do not use pre-ticked boxes for optional categories, and we do not place non-essential cookies before you make a choice.
You may change preferences anytime by clearing site data in your browser and revisiting, or by contacting us at online@zoepurify.world.
6.1 Browser controls
Most browsers let you block or delete cookies. Guidance is available from your browser provider (e.g. Chrome, Firefox, Safari, Edge). Blocking all cookies may affect site functionality. For more information visit aboutcookies.org or the ICO guidance at ico.org.uk.
6.2 Do Not Track
Some browsers offer "Do Not Track" (DNT) signals. There is no uniform UK legal standard for responding to DNT. We honour the choices you make through our cookie banner rather than DNT signals alone.
7. Legal basis and PECR compliance
Strictly necessary cookies and storage are used on the basis of legitimate interests (UK GDPR Art. 6(1)(f)) and PECR exemptions for storage strictly necessary to provide an information society service explicitly requested by you.
Analytics and marketing cookies rely on your consent (UK GDPR Art. 6(1)(a) and PECR Regulation 6). We do not use pre-ticked boxes for optional cookies. Consent is recorded with a timestamp in local storage.
Withdrawing consent does not affect the lawfulness of processing before withdrawal.
8. Your rights
Cookie-related data may constitute personal data. You have rights under the UK GDPR as described in our Privacy Policy, including access, erasure, and objection. To complain, contact the ICO (see our Privacy Policy for details).
9. Updates
We review this policy when we add or change cookies or technologies. The "Last updated" date will change accordingly. If we introduce new non-essential cookies, we will request fresh consent where required.
10. Contact
